“We did not know how to get around in India because it was our first visit and we only had little time – 12 days to be exact. So we needed an efficient, reliable and safe means of transportation.
The car was always clean and always on point to pick us up. We felt safe and comfortable all the time – and this isn’t easy if you know how traffic in India can be. Now we know why everyone advised against driving there on your own with a rented car.
As Rafiq put it: “To drive a car in India you need three things: good horn, good breaks and good luck!” – And we never had any doubt he was in possession of all three.
And he was even in possession of a fourth: Good advices. He knew where to get some food suitable for the stomachs of westerners and some recommendations for places to visit or the best time of day for seeing the Taj Mahal or the Ghats in Varanasi for example (it is best at sunrise). He also got us a guide for the Taj Mahal who was very competent and also funny.
Rafiq also had some rajasthani music in his cd-deck which he played during our trip and this added to the atmosphere.
Besides, autumn has begun in Germany and temperatures went down, which is not the only reason why we miss India. We have done a lot of advertisment for the country and hopefully motivated some more people to get on a trip to India, especially to see fascinating Rajasthan

Our family spent a wonderful 4 weeks in India, travelling through Rajasthan and to Uttarakhand. It was our second trip to India having previously visited in 2007. Having used Rafiq’s services on our earlier visit, we were delighted that he was available to drive us through both states on this trip. Rafiq is both professional and friendly. On quiet country roads, busy highways or in the traffic mayhem of cities, you always feel safe with Rafiq at the wheel. We highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a driver in India.

'My daughter and I have had another wonderful trip to Rajasthan, and this year, Gujarat as well, with Rafiq as our driver.
We are very pleased with the service he offers. His car is always clean and tidy, in good working order and generally well looked after.
Rafiq is an excellent driver, a must-have in India. I would not drive there myself, as the 'rules or the road' are very different. Rafiq speaks good English, is a calm and helpful companion, with a good sense of humour and is extremely reliable and professional.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.'
